Some Smart TVs can receive selected media through DLNA / UPnP AVTransport without a native Castario app. Castario reads announced capabilities; a brand or model name alone is never treated as proof of support.

Questions about standard Smart TVs
Does Castario work with every Smart TV?
No universal compatibility is promised. Castario can offer selected media to a TV that announces compatible DLNA / UPnP AVTransport capabilities, but real format and playback support varies.
Do I need a Castario app on the television?
Not for the standard DLNA route. A native Castario receiver is still required for Castario screen mirroring and the fuller paired receiver feature set.
Why is a feature unavailable for my television?
Castario gates actions using the selected target's announced capabilities. A TV may support photos but not the chosen video codec, or expose playback without mirroring, web pages or IPTV.
